Two-time Glory super bantamweight champion Tiffany van Soest came out on top when she faced old rival Sarah Moussaddak on Saturday, September 9 at Dome de Paris in Paris, France. The pair squared off in the championship rematch, serving as the co-main event at Glory 88: Hari vs McSweeney.

Their first fight in October 2022 at Collision 4 in Arnhem, Netherlands ended in favor of “Time Bomb”, who retained her title by unanimous decision. The scheduled for five rounds second encounter didn’t go the full distance.

The American champion claimed the win, sending her opponent, representing the country-host, to the canvas with a big left high kick. Although the French-Moroccan challenger managed to get back on her feet, the referee waved the fight off after reaching 10. The official time of stoppage was 1 minute and 47 seconds into the second round.

With the victory by knockout, Tiffany van Soest improved to 25-6-2, 10 KO and retained her title. The contest marked the final outing of the 34-year-old native of Torrance, California, who retired from kickboxing holding the belt.

Sarah Moussaddak failed her second attempt to become champion. The 23-year-old of Valenciennes, Nord dropped to 8-4, 1 KO.
