Replaced as chief ministers, union ministers, BJP leaders’ new roles for 2024 election

Senior BJP leaders, including Vijay Rupani, Biplab Deb, Prakash Javadekar , have been assigned new charges by the party leadership.

With eyes on the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the BJP gave new organisational charges to former chief ministers and Union ministers. Senior BJP leaders, including Vijay Rupani, Biplab Kumar Deb, Prakash Javadekar and Mahesh Sharma, were made in-charges of party affairs in different states.

Vinod Tawde has been named as BJP’s new in-charge for Bihar, while Om Mathur and Mangal Pandey will take charge for Chhattisgarh and West Bengal respectively.

Biplab Deb has been named BJP’s new in-charge for Haryana, Laxmikant Bajpai will look after the work in Jharkhand, Prakash Javadekar will take charge in Kerala, and Dr Mahesh Sharma will be in-charge of Tripura.
