Vivo is readying the successor to the Vivo X Fold+, a flagship foldable Android smartphone with dual displays. The promotional posters for the Vivo X Fold 2 have leaked online, which reveal the design and several key specifications of the premium foldable smartphone.

The Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to launch soon. The battery capacity and the fast-charging tech that the smartphone supports were leaked recently. The leaked posters reveal the smartphone’s design, chipset, RAM, screen, and much more.

Vivo X Fold 2 Alleged Promo Posters Leak Online

Vivo X Fold 2 is scheduled to launch later this month. Vivo had previously confirmed the new foldable phone will arrive in April 2023 but refrained from mentioning the exact launch date. Before the official launch, alleged promotional images of the Vivo X Fold 2 leaked online.

The images shared on Weibo by Dragon II Pro reveal the design and key specifications of the upcoming Vivo foldable phone. According to the leaked images, the foldable Android smartphone looks identical to the Vivo X Fold+. However, Vivo is expected to make some upgrades to the new smartphone.

Alongside, the Vivo X Fold 2, Vivo is also expected to launch the Vivo Pad 2 and the Vivo X Flip Android smartphone.

Vivo X Fold 2 Leaked Specifications, Features

The promotional images show the Vivo X Fold 2. They claim the foldable Android smartphone will have an 8.03-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with 2160 X 1916 pixels resolution on the inside. The 2K+ screen will have a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits of peak brightness.

The outer display on the Vivo X Fold 2 will have a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1600 nits brightness. Both displays will have an ultra-sonic under-display fingerprint scanner, the leaked posters indicate.

The promotional images also reveal the Vivo X Fold 2 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will be accompanied by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The amount of RAM and internal storage space hasn’t been revealed.

Previous leaks about the smartphone suggest the Vivo X Fold 2 will feature a triple-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera with OIS support. The primary camera could be accompanied by dual Sony IMX663 12MP lenses. The handset is tipped to have a dedicated Vivo V2 ISP chip for better image processing.

The Vivo X Fold 2 smartphone is tipped to pack a 4,800mAh battery which could support 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The premium smartphone is expected to run Android 13 OS with Origin Ocean custom skin. Apart from wireless charging, the Vivo X Fold 2 is tipped to support Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
